Dr. Mason grew up on her family ranch in New Mexico where they raised cattle, goats, and various other animals. She attended Washington State University and received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Practicing in a general small animal hospital in Arizona she found a passion for surgery. After meeting her husband, she moved to Florida where she gained more experience in small animal medicine before transitioning to a rescue position that provided a unique opportunity to be a mixed animal veterinarian and a wildlife veterinarian. Dr. Mason enjoys traveling with her husband, reading, spending time outdoors, and visiting her family ranch whenever she gets the chance.
